Why raazkez

Guidance

Knowledge is key to success. Rakeez is a show whose goal is to provide viewers with the required knowledge to transform a business idea into a corporate reality. The culture of a methodological business is almost non-existence in the Libyan market. Even basic notions such as planning, marketing, and customer care are far from being familiar in Libya. Everyone, whose goal is starting a business, will benefit greatly from the information, the guidance and the success stories that will be broadcast through Rakeez. Especially, entrepreneurs will benefit immensely from the program.

Access

By choosing to launch an educational TV program, reaching Libyans who aspire to start their own business in all Libyan cities is guaranteed. There is hardly any household in Libya which does not have at least one TV set. Even in refugee camps with difficult life conditions TV’s are counted among the essentials.

Filming the show in Jordan and broadcasting it from there will provide a healthy distance from the uncertainties of the Libyan scene which can be very unpredictable, thus guaranteeing the continuity of the show.

Motivation

Bringing Libyan and Arab youth together in the same training program will provide an opportunity for interaction and work as a stimulant for competitiveness. It will also be a chance for exchanging expertise and experiences. The final outcome should be Libyan youth with strengthened self-confidence and more certainty of their own ability to achieve what has already been achieved in the Arab World.

This self-confidence should spill over to the audience and will motivate them to seek their own business goals. It is worth mentioning in this regard, that the chance of attending training courses and interacting with other nationalities is small in Libya, and is often restricted to government employees, and even then, those who get that chance, often get it based on criteria other than merit

Inspiration

Inviting special guests to share their success stories with audience will inspire many to realize their dreams and ambitions and to bringing their ideas to life by turning them into successful companies which feed into the advancement reshaping of the local economy. The guests will be from different nationalities, backgrounds and specializations. Some from Libya and others from post-civil-war countries such as Rwanda and Lebanon. The viewers will be inspired as to possibility of copying others success in order to be prepared for the phase that will follow the conflict. It will also serve to revive hope in the possibility of moving past the current situation in Libya.

Women Empowerment

Inclusion of women is defining signature of the program. In addition to inviting women as guests and shedding the light on success stories lead by females, the show itself will be hosted by a female hostess and the audience will be constituted by an equal number of women and men. This will enhance the society’s perception of women and will offer an example of for women in leading and advisory positions, it will also empower women to take initiatives and strengthen their faith in their ability to lead the change in the Libyan society.

This is a great opportunity for youth to learn from people who have already been through the process. I'm ready to contribute in any way needed.

I believe this is a great idea and initiative and incredibly timely. Over the past couple of years entrepreneurship has been tipped as the solution to many of our socio-economic problems but because of tough economic times you find it harder for new entrepreneurs to succeed without the right kind of guidance and hands-on training.
